Trading this, for technology of today, was quite possibly one of the worst trades Human-kind has ever made in my opinion.
I’d rather go out every night and gaze over head than stay indoors and watch these kinds of videos.


When I look outside, I get mad at times. Damned light pollution.
I remember rocking back and forth in the middle of the ocean with my Pops in Florida; looking up at night was one of the greatest, if not most humble I’ve ever been.

Stepping back and thinking about our Glorious Sun, surrounded by 9 planets (if you include poor ol’ Pluto), and how much we DON’T know, can really humble the average man; especially when you include that each and every star you see and DON’T see, can be encircled by one or more planets.
Each Solar system consisting of zero or more planets. Each Solar system being but a simple star, which is part of a Galaxy consisting of over 100 billion other stars.
And as far as our technology can allow, we only see 100,000 Galaxies.
We can only -SEE- about 100,000 Galaxies.

That’s some hundred billion plus stars in each and every Galaxy.
Not to mention new ones getting ready to form from the Nebulae.

Our Solar system, this MASSIVE circle of mysteries; is only one of trillions. Hell, I can’t even count that high.

Now put it all together, go outside and look up; It took days to get to our MOON.
We can’t even send a man to another PLANET in our OWN Solar System.

This is the Real world.
       
      As much as one would love to live in a world where everyone was given an equal chance at life, this world sadly, does not exist.
Why should the luck of being born in a third-world country affect your aforementioned “unalienable rights”
?
Were all men not said to be created equal?
Why can we afford to ditch classes, fail tests, disrespect teachers, when so many others don’t even get the privilege to read?

People continually toss food onto the ground and in the trash.
The half-eaten broccoli just mindlessly tossed away, could have been valuable vitamin C for a child half a world away, who could just have easily been in our position and us in theirs, had luck presented itself in such a way.


There is no justice.
 
When children have to scour city dumps and decide between two week old meat or five day old milk and regards it as normalcy, with absolutely no hope for change in sight; while the average American family wastes 122lbs of food per month;

where is our beloved justice now?


To be quite honest, we don’t appreciate life.
We may appreciate our families, our privileges, but we don’t fully appreciate life.
Until we’ve been told that our lives will amount to nothing and it being
the sound Truth,

we will never really understand how lucky we are to have what it is we have.

This predetermined inequality between Humans and its
Sociologically constructed “races”, is unfair.
Then again, we’re taught at a young age time and time again that,
Life just isn’t fair”.

Our young, innocent minds, begin to grasp that concept.
But even so, as an Adult, we only truly understand the half of it.

                                       “Children are our future.”

Some future we have in store for us.

A future where little “Sally” at age 6 can draw on walls and attend ballet classes, whereas “
Al Tayyib” at the same age, is required to aid in the search for food in disease infested areas if he intends on living another Day. 

The fortunately lucky people of the world should reconsider their lives,
because you too, are a part of a:

                                    Predestined Inequality.
